Suzuki Cello Books
These are the books I will use to teach my students. I encourage you to purchase them through a music vendor such as Shar Music or Johnson Strings as they will be able to better help you find the exact book you need. (Amazon has had issues of missing parts/incorrect editions )
Nurtured by Love
This book outlines the Suzuki Philosophy by detailing the experiences of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. He explains how he came to develop the belief system that has fueled teachers and students alike for many years stemming from the belief that Every Child Can.
Ability Development From Age Zero
This sequel to Nurtured by Love is Dr. Suzuki's answer to how to create a warm and caring environment to help children be happy, capable, and loving humans.

"The fate of the child is in the hands of his parents"
The Talent Code
This book seeks to show how talent is not some innate trait, but something that is cultivated with effective coaching, motivation, and practice. Coyle uses analytical skills based on current research to back his writings.
Intelligent Music Teaching
This collection of essays guides the reader through how humans learn in the context of teaching music. By understanding how best students learn, we can best support them in experiencing the growth and change to follow.
Helping Parents Practice
"Ideas for Making it Easier. Written in small, easily managed sections for the busy parent. The aim is to support and inform parents who want to maximize their usefulness and minimize their interference--but are sometimes unsure how to achieve these goals during practice."
